User Roles

The User Roles are impacted when the Sign off feature is enabled. The following changes occur  in the program once sign off is turned on by the Tax Provision Technical Support team.

 

The Read/Write and Read-Only user roles are no longer an option to select for a User Role.

Only Admin and the selected number of sign off levels appear in the list.
The Preparer Role takes the place of the Read/Write user role.
The Corporate role takes the place of the Read-Only role.

 

Admin is Read-Only.

The Admin user role is assigned as an Admin and Preparer to have Admin rights.

 

When at the Preparer sign off level, all other sign off levels are Read-Only.

Once a Preparer Signs-off, the Preparer’s User Role is Read-Only.
If a unit is reverted to the Preparer, the Preparer no longer is Read-Only and has the normal Preparer permissions.
