Documentation

In the Admin Center, select the Documentation tab to work with file attachments. The Documentation tab lists the attachments you attached to your positions in the Uncertain Tax Position application for the current unit, across datasets.

 

In the Documentation table, you can view the File Name of the attached files, the number of positions in which you have attached a file, and the Actual File Count which represents the number of times the file ID is actually attached to various positions.

Click a positions icon to view the File Name and Position Description.

The # Items Attached To and the Actual File Count may not always be the same number.
The # Items Attached To is the number of positions a file is attached. You can attach a file individually or can be attached by creating a copy of  the file. A file is attached to multiple positions by using the Create Copy feature.

Reload

If you've added a new attachment and it does not appear in the Documentation table, click Reload to refresh the table.

 

Export Selected

You can export attachments in the Uncertain Tax Positions Application to a zip file. Select the check box next to the attachments that you want to save to the zip file and then click Export Selected.

 

View Document Position - Assignments

You can view detailed information related to specific attachments.

 

To view the Document-Position Assignments:

1.Click View Assigned Contingencies to view a specific attachment.

2.A box appears to the right of the attachment list which has the attachment name and all positions which have the selected attachment for the current unit. The information appears in the following format: Dataset Name, Position Code, Position Name, Jurisdiction, and Year.
3.To close the information box, click Hide.
