In the current period, if it is determined that the Uncertain Tax Position is no longer necessary, the entire amount provided in the prior period is reversed in the Change column/row to bring the taxes payable to zero.
| 1. | Select Mark as not longer uncertain from the Modify menu. |
| 2. | The Mark as NLU? message appears for verification that you want to mark this position as No Longer Uncertain. Click No to return to the Uncertain Position page or click Yes to set the uncertain tax position as a NLU final modification. Positions can be modified if you select from the Modify menu, Undo Final Position. |
| 3. | The Uncertain Position appears with the Status, NLU. |
