Certain dataset data entry fields can be changed within the application and include the Dataset Name, Year, Period and RO? (Read-Only) status; note that the Dataset Designation cannot be changed once it is saved in the application.
To edit existing Dataset data entry fields:
| 1. | Select a Dataset Name from the Datasets table. |
| 2. | Double click in the data entry field in which you want to change. You can type a new "Dataset Name" or select new information for RO? (Read-Only), Year or Period. |
| 3. | Click Save. A success message appears in a yellow box at the top of the screen when datasets are successfully updated. |
To cancel changes:
After editing a dataset, you may want to cancel your changes. This option is available before clicking Save.
| 2. | Click Yes to revert the changes. |
Notes:
| • | You cannot edit datasets that are a part of a Sequential Reporting Dataset. As a result, you will see a lock by the Dataset Name. |
| • | You cannot edit datasets that are marked as Read-only. As a result, you will see a lock by the Dataset Name and Yes appears in the Read-only (RO?) column. |
| • | You cannot make any changes to the current dataset. Switch to another dataset in Settings and then make your changes as needed. |
